Qualification Requirement to Attain a Wholesale Drug License
These educational qualification norms have been set up by the pharma council and other high authorities.
- If an individual is a graduation holder then he must have 1-year experience as a salesman.
- If an individual has cleared senior secondary examination then he must have 4 years of experience as a salesman to own a wholesale drug license.
- An individual who is registered pharmacist under the pharmacist State Council can also apply for it.
Pharmacy Requirement to Get Wholesale Drug License
- Area of the Pharmacy – An individual should have 10 square meters to start a Pharmacy, Medical Shop, and Wholesale Outlet. To get a retail license one should have 15 square meters.
- Storage Facility – Several drugs are required to be stored in the refrigerator such as vaccines, sera, insulin injection, etc. To maintain the durability of those drugs, it is mandatory to have a refrigerator and air conditioner in the premises.
- Need for Technical Staff – If you are having a wholesale pharmacy then the sale of the drug should be made either in the presence of license holder pharmacist or in the presence of an individual who is having immense experience as a salesperson.

- Requisite Application Form
- Users can pay fees Online through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card and can also download the challan and can pay the fees.
- Receipt for the fees of Rs. 3000/- paid or challan, as the case may be or their attested copies.
- Layout plan of premises, blueprint signed by owner and applicant where a license is applied in 3 copies.
- Documents viz. rent receipt, purchase documents, or its attested copies showing lawful possession of the premises.
- Documents relating to the constitution of the firm viz. Partnership-deed, memorandum, and article of association, etc. and their affidavits w.r.t. non-conviction.
- Full particulars of the competent technical staff /registered pharmacist along with copies of their educational qualification, experience, and registration certificates from the Haryana Pharmacy Council.
- The full name of the proprietor or the partners, as the case may be shall be provided in the application.
- In case of private or public limited concerns, the full name of the Directors who sign the application and the authorized signatory, if any, shall be provided in the application.
- Purchase voucher for Refrigerator/Deep freezer (For Vaccines / Sera).
- Affidavit of authorized signatory if any.
- Copy of resolution of Board of Directors for Authorised Signatory.
- After receipt application along with required documents, the same is forwarded to DCO of the concerned District for scrutiny and inspection.
